Generosity of the People

We are overwhelmed by the generosity of our friends and family who are contributing to this work. We are about one-fourth of our way to our goal for funds to support the actual travel, visas, etc. to both countries. At the same time, on a different level, I am still contacting companies in hopes of acquiring those digital cameras to take with me for the children to use. My vision is so strong for the children to take pictures of each other, their home, and their environment and then to add music and podcasts (their voices and stories) to the images. In order to implement this project fully, I’ve discovered it would cost about $12,500 in equipment since it’s a combination of cameras, printers, paper, 2 laptops, batteries and re-chargers. These are things we generally take for granted here. If you know of a company that might want to underwrite this part of the venture, please let me know or direct them to this site. (Even if I have to do this on a smaller scale – fewer cameras etc., I will.) You can make donations directly to this project or to our journey here:
